People lead complex and intricate lives, full of hobbies, tasks and social activities. As we all grow older, it can become difficult to keep on top of these tasks and lead the lives we want to. We provide dedicated training to equip our Care Professionals with the knowledge and skills to not only help with these tasks but identify opportunities for improving a person’s quality of living.
At Radfield Home Care we are on a mission to help the nation age well. This is done through many small actions such as helping a person with their shopping, washing the dishes, preparing meals that suit a new diet and simply helping a person get out and about. The training we provide our care assistants equips them with the confidence to approach these tasks in a confident and sensitive manner.
To begin a career in care you do not need any formal qualifications. We provide on-the-job training from the start that may lead to further training courses in such subjects as first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, or how to help people with mobility issues. There may also be an opportunity to work towards further qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. There have been many instances of people starting their career with us and progressing to higher level qualifications, such as a foundation degree or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care.
If you enjoy helping people and want to make a difference to their lives, then a career in care with Radfield could be just what you’re looking for.
