At Radfield Home Care we understand that exceptional care starts with exceptional people. This is why we provide in-depth support, training and induction plans to ensure our Care Professionals are confident and properly equipped to deliver personal care. Personal care needs to cover small everyday tasks such as shaving, sheet changing, bathing and showering. After a thorough introduction, we show our Care Professionals how to approach these tasks with confidence and dignity.
As people grow older, their personal care needs can become more complex. Our expert training prepares our care assistants to meet these needs. This allows them to approach care needs such as incontinence and personal hygiene with respect and efficiency.
To begin a career in care you do not need any formal qualifications. We provide on-the-job training from the start that may lead to further training courses in such subjects as first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, or helping people with mobility issues. There may also be an opportunity to work towards further qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. There have been many instances of people starting their career with us and progressing to higher level qualifications, such as a foundation degree or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care.
If you enjoy helping people and want to make a difference to their lives, then a career in care with Radfield could be just what you’re looking for.
