Providing end of life care can be a daunting prospect which is why we are here for our Care Professionals every step of the way. Providing dedicated training and support so that they may provide a quality care service with confidence for clients approaching the end of their journey.
Our mission at Radfield Home Care is to help the nation age well. We believe that ageing should not stop a person from leading a fulfilling life. This applies to all stages of a person’s life, including the end. To ensure our care assistants are fully equipped to meet the needs of end of life care, we provide them with a thorough induction including the opportunity to shadow our care staff in their duties. Along with induction and training, each of our Care Professionals is fully briefed on the care plan for every individual client. This means they are fully prepared to provide exceptional, bespoke, end of life care.
To begin a career in care you do not need any formal qualifications. We provide on-the-job training from the start that may lead to further training courses in such subjects as first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, or how to help people with mobility issues. There may also be an opportunity to work towards further qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. There have been many instances of people starting their career with us and progressing to higher level qualifications, such as a foundation degree or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care.
If you enjoy helping people and want to make a difference to their lives, then a career in care with Radfield could be just what you’re looking for.
