We believe that remaining at home in a familiar environment is an important aspect of ageing well and leading a fulfilling life. This is why we provide our Care Professionals with thorough training, to help support people in their homes.
Each care assistant is given a full induction, including the opportunity to shadow on care calls and learn from our experienced care staff. People and relationships are at the heart of care, so we show how to approach domiciliary care in a respectful manner; giving our carers the confidence to provide exceptional care to people in their own homes.
To begin a career in care you do not need any formal qualifications. We provide on-the-job training from the start that may lead to further training courses in such subjects as first aid, food hygiene, health and safety, or how to help people with mobility issues. There may also be an opportunity to work towards further qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. There have been many instances of people starting their career with us and progressing to higher level qualifications, such as a foundation degree or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care.
If you enjoy helping people and want to make a difference to their lives, then a career in care with Radfield could be just what you’re looking for.
