About Harry
Harry has a passion for everything active, be it running (10k’s, half-marathons), walking, cycling, bouldering (climbing without ropes), off-road motorbiking and more recently, dog walking! Harry has always had a passion for IT and decided it was time to pursue a career and higher education in this field. He has worked in many roles within a residential home; from Care Professional, to senior carer & team leader. He thoroughly enjoyed helping people; a passion that he found very rewarding. Joining Radfield has given him the opportunity to develop and pursue his interest in IT systems, whilst also complementing his experience in the care sector. He now helps others to develop their own skills and expertise. He has always been proud to see the results of his training sessions paying off and there is nothing more gratifying than being able to witness this first hand.
Harry’s career background
Harry has a varied and fascinating career background that dips in and out of social care but always has a centric theme of working with and helping others. In the summer of 2011, Harry went to Camp Canadensis in Pennsylvania where he worked as a Camp Counsellor, supporting and caring for the many campers. Returning to the UK, Harry went to work at Hinstock Manor Care Home. While there he utilised his experience and caring nature to carry out the duties of a Care Professional. Over the course of a year he progressed to the position of team leader and then senior carer. After Hinstock, Harry transitioned to a position at Honey Legal, providing guidance and support as a telesales operator. His attentiveness and dedicated work ethic allowed him to progress to team leader and then assistant manager. Looking for a role that allows him to pursue a personal interest in IT and technology while helping others, Harry joined the Radfield Home Care team in March 2021 as our IT & Compliance Manager.
