At Radfield Home Care York, Thirsk & Ryedale we are dedicated to providing outstanding live in care and visiting care to people living in their own homes. Our services are delivered without compromise and we are committed to Be There, helping our nation age well by remaining connected to the things that matter most to them.
The York, Thirsk & Ryedale office was established in 2021 by Ed Gill and has since been rated as York’s only overall rated “Outstanding” home care provider by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Ed wanted to establish a high-quality home care service to help older people age well at home and create a supportive work environment for exceptional care professionals.
Radfield Home Care York, Thirsk & Ryedale can support people with a variety of specialist medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, cancer and respiratory failure. We can also provide flexible care following an event such as a fall, hospital admission or to provide a family member respite from a caring role. The packages of care we provide are highly individualised and range from small weekly companionship-based visits, to large, multiple care visits throughout the day and night. We can also provide end of life care to support someone choosing to die at home.
Our recruitment process is thorough and all our Care Professionals are employed by us. Those selected to join our team receive high-quality training, support and ongoing professional development to ensure the very highest standards of care are delivered to our clients.
We are also committed to being a Living Wage Accredited Employer paying the independently calculated Living Wage rate to all our Care Professionals. The Living Wage Foundation recognises and celebrates the leadership shown by Living Wage Employers across the UK.
