What is your background prior to joining Radfield?

I have worked in the care sector for over 15 years for 2 previous home care providers. Previous to working in care, I have worked in call centres as a team leader and also as a stewardess in a local club.

How has your background prepared you for your new role at RHC?

Having good knowledge of the carers, clients and the areas where clients live. Worked closely with the previous care co-ordinator, working on On-Call gives you experience of working with rotas if having to cover short notice sickness. 

What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?

Looking after my grandfather up until him passing away, he didn’t want carers attending so was through family helping my Nana.

How do you feel your role, and your experience, will benefit Radfield’s clients?

Giving good continuity to our clients, to make sure they have regular clients who they can build up trust with. Making sure clients requests are met as much as we can with regards to time they would like calls, or if any extra calls are required or needing to be changed.
