About Maxine

We would like to introduce you to Maxine, care coordinator for Radfield Home Care Havering & Romford. Maxine is the key person in the field. Maxine is responsible for inducting and supporting new staff to understand our processes and complete their care certificate, undertaking regular spot checks and competencies for all staff to ensure the workforce is skilled to meet the needs of our clients.

Maxine has been a care coordinator since June 2018 and has been part of the Radfield Home Care family since June 2017, joining as a care professional. As an extremely experienced manager Maxine has held a number operational positions within the retail sector and is used to managing processes and teams effectively – a massive attribute to the role. As Maxine confirms,

“I really enjoy working and engaging with people, helping to get the best out of them. Being able to communicate with people is key to working in the care sector.”

Maxine describes how a move into home care was a logical step:

“My own experience of looking after my Nan, who I am very close to, was my inspiration to become a carer. I knew my background, including many years of customer service experience, would really be of benefit to our clients. My role directly supports clients as I am responsible for ensuring the care services we provide are of the highest standard. Also, I am someone that the clients can talk to and I can advocate for them to get any additional support that they need.”
