For me, as a consultant who has worked with dozens of different franchises over the years, the big thing that has always struck me as extraordinary about Radfield Home Care is the sheer depth of experience and expertise that makes up their core team. Radfield Home Care was founded over 40 years ago by Christine & John in a single care home, and has since grown to become a truly transformative network spanning dozens of locations across the UK dedicated to making a real difference in people’s lives. Today, the franchise is run by their children, Hannah and Alex.

Christine (or Chris, as she prefers) is still very much active in the care professional, despite being 80 herself. Hannah and Alex were thrilled to announce late in 2024 that the very same Shrewsbury day centre she helped set-up, and now volunteers at, has been singled out for a Great British Care Award at the regional Midlands award ceremony.

Not only that, but Chris took to the stage in Birmingham to receive the award herself!
