What is your background prior to joining Radfield?

I joined a London based Healthcare provider in December 2018 to assist the CEO in realising his business targets. Over a 3 and a half year period we delivered exponential growth across the UK opening more than 10 homecare locations. Through mid 2022 to mid 2024, I was a self employed consultant (Healthcare) specialising in overall business strategy and development. I supported a number of business owners to strategically plan their growth and helped to deliver operational stability in the process.

How has your background prepared you for your new role at RHC?

I have worked across the Healthcare sector for the past 9 years in a variety of roles, having developed and managed a national branch network I have seen and felt the day to day challenges of running a care business both large and small, this gives me the ability to relate with the franchise network and support more holistically with the day to day and strategic planning.

What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?

I started my career working in retail before working in a number of different industries, in truth I always felt that I wanted more from my career but didn’t quite understand what was missing until I started working in care, cliché I know however I didn’t choose care, care chose me. When I started working in care I finally felt a sense of purpose and really started to enjoy the day to day, fast forward 9 years and I couldn’t see my self working in any other sector. My inspiration now comes from wanting to do more for the people in our community, the standard of community care needs to improve across the UK and I want to be part of making that happen.

How do you feel your role, and your experience, will benefit Radfield’s clients?

I aim to use my experience to support our franchise network to expand into more territories across the UK, allowing us to reach more people who seek outstanding levels of care and support. I feel my experience links really well with the role of business performance manager.
