About Leah
Leah has worked in the care sector for almost 10 years, working mainly as a support worker. Leah also has experience working in many different care environments, supporting people who live with dementia, learning disabilities, complex needs, challenging behaviour and mental health needs.
Leah explains,
“After having my son and going back to work part-time for just over a year I decided it was time for a new challenge and progress my career in the care sector.”
Leah joined Radfield Home Care Harrogate, Wetherby and North Yorkshire in July 2018 as a care supervisor and a few months into that role, progressed to care coordinator and most recently, deputy registered care manager.
Leah explains,
“I am passionate about supporting people to stay in their own homes as long as possible and the care we provide is second to none! It was the best decision I made joining Radfield Home Care as the training has been the best I have ever had, and I am learning new skills all the time.”
Leah oversees the timings and quality of care delivered to our clients and ensures that everything is working smoothly.
