Radfield Home Care Hosts Community Friendship Event in Ormskirk

In an afternoon filled with warmth, laughter, and heartfelt connections, Radfield Home Care Ormskirk & Southport proudly supported the Hope Street Community Café & Hub during a memorable community event in Ormskirk at Toby Carvery. The event aimed to celebrate and strengthen community ties, proving to be a tremendous success with a lively turnout and fantastic support from local residents.

A Celebration of Community Spirit

We are immensely grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a memorable occasion. From the generosity of local businesses to the vibrant performances, the day truly showcased the spirit of community support in West Lancashire. The £1,000 raised will go towards supporting the important work of the Hope Street Community Café & Hub, underscoring our community’s commitment to local causes.

Key Highlights of the Day

The day was filled with delightful experiences, showcasing the best of our local community. Here are some key highlights:

Delicious Buffet and Refreshments:

Toby Carvery provided a delightful buffet and refreshments, ensuring that no one left hungry. Their hospitality set a welcoming tone for the event, creating an atmosphere of togetherness.

Raffle Prizes:

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated raffle prizes, which played a significant role in raising funds for Hope Street Community Café & Hub. The raffle not only contributed to the fundraising efforts but also brought a sense of excitement to the day.

Support from Local Leaders:

We were honoured by the presence of the Mayor and Mayoress of West Lancashire, whose support was invaluable. Their attendance underscored the importance of community events in fostering connections and collaboration.

Talented Performances:

The crowd was treated to exceptional performances by talented dancers Eden and Sasha. Trained by the renowned dance teacher Margaret Redmond, who has an illustrious career that includes mentoring Strictly Come Dancing judges and professionals, their performance left everyone in awe.

Musical Entertainment:

Vocalist Hayley Holmes captivated the audience with her beautiful live performance, adding a musical touch that enhanced the festive atmosphere.

Acknowledging Community Commitment:

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Sheila Byrne, the passionate proprietor of Hope St Community Café & Hub, along with her dedicated team of volunteers. Their unwavering commitment to the local community plays an essential role in ensuring that individuals stay connected to the things that matter most to them.

David Bellis, Director & Owner of Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, said:
