At Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, we understand the value of meaningful connections for well being, especially for older people and their families. To help build these connections, we’re excited to announce our new monthly coffee mornings in Ormskirk. Held on the last Friday of each month from 10:30am to 12pm at our Ormskirk office, these sessions will provide a friendly setting where older adults, families, and community members can connect with local health professionals, charities, and organisations dedicated to supporting older adults, particularly those living with dementia.
Our first coffee morning on October 25th brought together Alzheimer’s Society fundraiser Chantelle Day, dementia advisor Chris Lawson, and dementia friends ambassador Joe Sherville, each sharing invaluable insights and support. In a relaxed, informal environment, attendees were able to access practical advice, share experiences, and gain valuable information from trusted community sources.
Our coffee mornings are open to everyone in the community—from family carers seeking resources to older adults looking for companionship and practical advice. Each gathering brings together a diverse group of Care Professionals, medical advisors, and representatives from local organisations, all dedicated to addressing key topics like dementia care, home care options, and well being support for adults and families in Ormskirk.
By rotating guest speakers and organisations, we ensure a dynamic programme that supports the varied needs of our community. Whether you’re looking for guidance on a specific issue or simply a place to connect, our monthly gatherings for older adults in Ormskirk offer valuable insights and a warm environment.
Our goal with these coffee mornings is to create a comfortable space where visitors feel at ease asking questions, sharing their experiences, and connecting with others who understand. These gatherings are designed to be more than informational sessions—they’re a chance for families and older adults to come together in a supportive atmosphere where they can find resources and build meaningful connections.
Dave Bellis, Director and Owner of Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, expressed his pride in the initiative, saying,
“I couldn’t be prouder to be part of these community connections. Our monthly coffee mornings will strengthen support for older people in Ormskirk and provide reassurance for families. It’s a privilege to bring these resources and connections to our community.”
Our Care Professionals are available at these events to answer questions about Radfield’s services, including personalised care options that promote independence and wellbeing. By hosting these events, we aim to empower families with the knowledge and confidence to make informed care decisions.
We warmly invite you to be part of our monthly coffee mornings, held on the last Friday of each month from 10:30am to 12pm at our Ormskirk office. Enjoy a cup of coffee while engaging in meaningful conversation and receiving support from both our Care Professionals and fellow community members. Whether you have specific questions about care options or simply wish to connect with others, our coffee mornings offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
