Charitable fundraising in Ormskirk for The Alzheimer’s Society

In line with our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community, Radfield Home Care Ormskirk recently presented a donation of £735 to The Alzheimer’s Society, with funds raised from a recent event supported by our dedicated Care Professionals and community members. This contribution reflects our dedication to helping those impacted by dementia and Alzheimer’s and reinforces our commitment to supporting older adults in Ormskirk, surrounding areas and local charitable initiatives across the UK.

Radfield Home Care Ormskirk’s Commitment to Community and Charity

Supporting causes that matter to our clients and communities is a core part of Radfield Home Care’s mission. On Friday, 25th October 2024, Radfield Home Care Ormskirk presented a cheque of £735 to Chantelle Day, the lead regional fundraiser for The Alzheimer’s Society. The presentation was led by Joe Sherville, our volunteer dementia friend’s ambassador, who has been instrumental in driving awareness and fostering dementia support in Ormskirk and other dementia-related causes in the local community.

This recent donation is just one example of how we actively engage with causes that promote mental well being and awareness for those navigating dementia and Alzheimer’s. With each fundraising initiative, we bring together our team, clients, and the broader community to support meaningful causes that impact the quality of life for older adults and their families. We are proud to play a role in Alzheimer’s care in Ormskirk through our dedicated efforts.

Empowering the Community Through Charitable Partnerships

Radfield’s charitable efforts extend beyond dementia and Alzheimer’s support. Recently, our team supported the Hope Street Community Café and Hub, another charity in Ormskirk that plays a key role in providing a welcoming space for older people and community members. With the combined support of our Care Professionals, clients, and local supporters, we raised over £1,000 to help fund this local initiative, further amplifying Radfield Home Care’s community impact in Ormskirk and our presence and purpose within the Ormskirk community.

Reflecting on these achievements, Dave Bellis, Director & Owner of Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, said:

“Our vision here at Radfield Home Care supports not only providing top-tier home care services but also connecting with and supporting local charities that enhance the quality of life for older adults. It is a privilege for the Radfield team and me to work together with organisations that support a compassionate community.”

This ongoing support underscores our dedication to creating a sense of community support for older adults in Ormskirk and engagement for those we serve, furthering our commitment to helping people stay connected to what matters most.

As we continue to champion the community initiatives in Ormskirk, we remain committed to supporting charitable initiatives that make a difference in the lives of older adults and their families. Our fundraising efforts foster unity among our Care Professionals, clients, and community members, all working together towards the shared goal of supporting local care services and charities in Ormskirk.

At Radfield, we believe that every person deserves compassionate care and a supportive community. Our work with organisations like The Alzheimer’s Society and Hope St. Community Café and Hub is part of our vision to help people age well, and we look forward to expanding these connections further to benefit the local community.
