Radfield Home Care makes generous donation to local food bank

Radfield Home Care Liverpool North, has made a generous donation to a local foodbank with over 100 items donated last month.

Based in Coronation Road, Crosby, Radfield wanted to ensure that they were very much supporting the local community. After seeing a local Facebook post from their Foodbank asking for donations throughout August when the schools were closed, the branch decided to pull together as a team and gather as many food donations as they possibly could from their care staff, family and friends.

Dave Bellis, owner and director of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North commented,

“After seeing the facebook post, and knowing that over 14,000 people per month relied on South Sefton Foodbank, we couldn’t think of a more worthy cause to support.”

“So, as a collective, our care team collected over 100 items between them, asking members of their family and loved ones to donate, and the response was overwhelming and extremely generous. It is important that as a business, we support local community projects such as this, and when we dropped the items off, we were greeted with enormous gratitude!”
