When you think of a Care Professional, what springs to mind? Our home care team come from all walks of life, with hugely diverse and varied backgrounds. One of those Care Professionals is Ash. Ash is a trained doctor and surgeon, studying for his masters degree in healthcare management at Worcester University.
We sat down with Ash for a quick coffee and a chat to find out more about how the Care Professional role fits around his life and what he enjoys most about the role. You can listen to that below.
Ash works with us 20 hours a week helping to carry out companionship services for our lovely clients. The role of Care Professional offers a level of flexibility so that it can fit around your lifestyle. In this case, Ash fits care hours around his university studies, but we have Care Professionals that come from all walks of life.
It’s a diverse role that suits all manner of people. Mums & dad’s trying to make some extra money around childcare, retirees that feel like they still have more to give, people from corporate careers who want to give something back to the world, students, bankers and everything in between.
