About Valentina
Valentina Sinkova is a Senior Care Professional at Radfield Home Care Leicester East, Groby & Oadby. Having joined Radfield in March 2022 as a Care Professional, Valentina quickly demonstrated her passion and aptitude for caregiving, being promoted to Senior Care Professional in January 2023.
As well as having essential care qualifications, and working towards her level 3 Health and Social Care NVQ, she also has a degree in Tourism Management (University of Latvia).
Valentina says:
“I worked in a care home for 6 years (3 years as care assistant and 3 years as senior carer, looking after people and supporting other staff members as a senior carer. After this, I decided to try my skills in home care and don’t regret it. I like the structure of Radfield and appreciate the career opportunities. I love being part of the local community and supporting people to stay independent and live in their own homes. I’m very proud to be a part of the Radfield family.”
“At the age of 16, I looked after my grandma at home. She had a fall followed by a hip replacement and was bed bound for 5 years. Despite the fact I was only 16 years old, I was able to deliver the best quality of care to my grandma, including pressure care, personal care, feeding, administering medication, end-of-life care and giving emotional support. My grandma used to say: “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others”. I believe that my beloved grandma inspired me to do what I’m good at and share my knowledge and experience with my colleagues and new members of staff.”

I’m proud of all my colleagues and celebrate their success. I try my best to inspire them to go above and beyond for our clients.
