Radfield Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Picnic in the Park

Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland, winner of the Mercury Business Awards Customer Service category 2023, celebrated its 5th year of trading with a staff picnic at Burghley Park.

Radfield’s care team gathered in lovely weather to enjoy a seasonal ‘feast’ and take part in a range of fun activities. These included a croquet relay, guess the baby photo competition and Spike Ball! The highlight, though, was the ‘Radfield’s got Talent’ event, where the entertainment included an hilarious take on the life of carers by supervisors Karen and Rose, as well as a ‘Strictly NOT Dancing’ performance by Directors James and Stefania.

It’s been an amazing journey for our company, initially managing through the Covid pandemic whilst we established the business. Our proudest moment was to receive the recognition of the Care Quality Commission with an OUTSTANDING rating following their rigorous inspection in 2021. Getting together with our team for a picnic was a fantastic way to have a bit of fun and to mark our 5th year in business. We are very grateful to Burghley House for enabling us to spend time in such a lovely setting.”
