Radfield Home Care Havering celebrates 1st birthday

On Saturday 28th July, Radfield Home Care held their 1st birthday event, celebrating their first launch year in business, which was a massive success.

Jennie Bardrick, co-director commented,

“Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us raise as much money as we could for the fabulous Saint Francis Hospice . We had lots of games, plenty of cupcakes and a huge raffle with practically everyone receiving a prize! We are delighted to have raised £145.75 for the hospice and proud to be associated with such a fantastic cause that does so much in the community of Havering.

We are also extremely thankful to John, the caretaker at Yvonne Arnaud Lodge, for allowing us the use of the hall for our event and also to John’s wife Sylvia for making such delicious cupcakes with the Hospice logo on them.

Around 50 people came to celebrate our first birthday. There were cakes that Ruby’s cupcakes had made which were delicious and had the Radfield branding on them. We had games for the children to play, such as hook a duck and panning for gold. The children also had great fun on the bouncy castle!”

We also had a guest appearance from Lisa’s sister and West End superstar, Claire Fishenden, who sung beautifully for us – singing the Mamma Mia hits, as well as our family favourite, ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’.
