In loving memory of Claudette – always so proud to care

It was with great sadness that Radfield Home Care Havering and Brentwood were informed of the passing of their much loved care professional, Claudette, in March 2021.

Having joined Radfield in 2017, Claudette quickly became an integral part of the care team and was the true embodiment of a dedicated care professional. Caring, passionate and dedicated, Claudette always made a fantastic impression upon those she met. Lisa Cable, Radfield Home Care Havering and Brentwood’s director and Natalea Haydon, registered care manager, express the impact that Claudette had on those around her:

“Claudette​ was one of our very first employees, starting at the​ very beginning when we opened in 2017. You would always​ know when Claudette was around with her distinctive​ laugh and bright smile – it was such a pleasure to work with her.

Claudette always had very high​ standards and developed some amazing relationships​ with her clients, she was such a professional. For Claudette, she was always proud to care​ and this shines through in this photo taken at the​ Radfield Christmas party a few years ago.

We are so thankful for all the work she did for clients and for making such a positive difference to their lives.”

Catherine, Radfield care professional: “Claudette was a perfectionist in her role and was a fabulous carer. I learnt so much from her when I first joined Radfield, as well as being a lovely caring friend to me out of working hours. You always knew where you were with Claudette and her humour was second to none, it was such a privilege to have met her.”

Elvita, Radfield care professional: “Claudette will always be remembered, I had a great bond with her. Claudette taught me so many things and was my very first mentor when I started at Radfield.”

From a client’s loved one: “I just wanted those close to Claudette to know just how much we both appreciated every moment she gave to our Mum over the years. Vera loved having a chat and a laugh with her especially on the night call when I know Claudette went above and beyond the necessary and always left her feeling secure. God Bless Claudette.”

Jenny, daughter of client: “Claudette was such a good carer to my dad. She truly cared and will be greatly missed – she also had a great laugh.”

Radfield client Mary and the McLoughlin family: “Claudette has been part of our family helping Mary for years and cared about her from day one. We all miss her, she has sadly been taken too soon. May she rest in peace.”

Claudette was not just a colleague, she was also a friend, and she will be extremely missed by both her team and the clients that she showed such compassion towards. The Radfield family is proud to have known her and express their sympathies to her family and loved ones.
