Nicola Wright

We would like to introduce you to Nicola Wright, care coordinator for Radfield Home Care Chippenham & North Wiltshire.

Nicola is responsible for the creation and management of the rotas for clients and carers, liaising with clients, families and professionals to manage care needs and staff deployment and supporting the registered manager with the safe running of the office.

With a solid background within the care sector, Nicola describes her valuable care career prior to joining Radfield:

“I have over ten years experience in care. I started in domiciliary care where I worked for seven years and worked my way up to becoming a key care worker for two years and then a care coordinator for three years. I have also worked within the care homes sector for a short time, which I found very different to domiciliary work. I gained a lot of experience from my role as key care worker and care coordinator from the people I worked with and the clients themselves.”

“I have worked as a care coordinator in my previous job for three years, where I gained a lot of knowledge so I am pleased to bring that with me to add to the new knowledge I will learn from Radfield.”

Offering the best, professional home care is something Nicola understands and personally champions:

“My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers and I could not have been happier to know that in her last few years she was treated with the best care. I wanted to give something back to the community, I also looked after my father in law who had dementia right up to the end of his life.”

“I am keen to get to know all the clients very well and hope they will feel happy and confident to speak with me about anything and know that I will do my best to help them in whatever way I can.”
