We recently held our quarterly team-building event for our carers. Radfield Home Care recently hosted an inspiring team-building event at Beaconsfield Town FC Club, bringing our dedicated team together for a day filled with updates, presentations, and activities.
The day commenced with a company update where Diana shared the remarkable achievements of our team. Her presentation highlighted the dedication and hard work of our staff, showcasing significant progress and milestones that have been reached by Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield & South Bucks.
Hana introduced our Radfield Community partners, each contributing valuable services to our clients:
Iain provides essential foot health services that help our clients maintain mobility and comfort, addressing issues that significantly impact overall well being.
Specialising in powered mobility scooters and accessories, We Do Mobility supports individuals with mobility challenges, promoting greater independence and improved quality of life.
Horizon Rehabilitation comprises a dedicated team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and therapy support staff offering one-to-one specialist assessments. Their tailored rehabilitation programs cater to the specific needs of each individual.
This consultancy specialises in helping individuals claim various benefits, including Attendance Allowance, ensuring our clients receive the financial support they are entitled to.
We were honoured to host Sue Granshaw, a volunteer for Alzheimer’s Research. Sue provided a wealth of valuable information about dementia, including its various types and effects, types of Dementia and ways to protect against it, and the latest research efforts aimed at finding treatments. Her insights were enlightening and deeply appreciated by all.
One of our amazing Care Professionals, Andi, shared a deeply personal story about her transgender child’s journey, complicated further by them living with autism. The room was captivated by Andi’s account of unconditional motherly love and the challenges faced by her family. Her story fostered a deeper understanding and empathy within our team, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
The event concluded with a traditional sports day, filled with fun and friendly competition. The sun was shining, and everyone enjoyed the activities, striving to lead their team to victory. The winning team was led by our wonderful Care Mentor Kerry, her team were Kash, Gagan, Paida and Sophie. What great teamwork from all our Care Professionals!
The day wrapped up with delicious food platters, providing a perfect end to a fantastic event. The team-building day at Beaconsfield Town FC was a resounding success, strengthening our sense of unity and purpose. We look forward to building on these achievements and continuing our mission to provide exceptional care to our clients.
