What is your background prior to joining Radfield?
I held a variety of jobs, mostly in the public sector before becoming a carer for Cumbria County in 2005. I then became a Reablement Support Worker in 2012 and a Reablement and Review Officer in 2019. I relocated to Chester in 2022 and then joined Radfield.
How has your background prepared you for your new role at RHC?
I have a wide knowledge base and skills due to various previous positions and am able to utilise these for my role within Radfield Home Care.
What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?
I enjoy working with people and like to feel to that I can make a difference to people’s lives.
How do you feel your role, and your experience, will benefit Radfield’s clients?
By having a lot varied life experiences and work experience in care, I am able to use these skills to have a good understanding of clients needs.
