About Barbara
An experienced care professional, Barbara Williams is Radfield Home Care Chester and Ellesmere Port’s Care Coordinator.
Barbara goes out and about meeting our clients and their families regularly, continuously reviewing the care that we provide and making any changes that are needed. Barbara is also responsible for care spot checks, carers supervisions, competency checks and general office duties.
Barbara says:
“I have worked in homecare for 15 years prior to joining Radfield, originally starting as a care professional. I then started to work alongside the care manager at the time and I then began to support them and also the care professionals. Prior to care I have worked in retail. Helping people to remain at home with support continues to inspire me to want to be involved in the adult care sector.”
Experience plays a big part in part in being a successful care coordinator role, as Barbara explains:
“By having also worked in the field I really understand the role of a care professional and know how important it is to have support from the office team. Over my 15 years of working in home care I feel that I can offer personalised support and be someone to talk to for reassurance. I have achieved my level 3 in health and social care, having also gained valuable on-call experience and visit scheduling.”
