Home care registered manager of the year in the South-East steers care team to award victory

Exceptional home care from exceptional people

The success can be attributed to the outstanding office team and Care Professionals, managed by the award-winning registered care manager, Amy Hilton. Amy, from St Leonards, and her colleague, Paula Wright, from Bexhill recently triumphed at the Great British Care Awards.

At the South East regional awards, Amy won the Home Care Registered Manager of the year award, and Paula was highly commended in the best Care Newcomer category.

Amy was delighted with her win:

“I just can’t believe it! Honestly it was such an honour just to be nominated but to win The Registered Manager’s award is a dream come true! I’m looking forward to going to the final, I hope I can do everyone at Radfield Home Care and the whole region proud!”

What are the Great British Care Awards?

The Great British Care Awards pay tribute to individuals who have gone the extra mile to help improve the lives of people within their care. Judges concluded that Amy’s dedication to continued improvement really shone through and had led several excellent and creative client initiatives throughout the pandemic. They were also impressed by her efforts to focus on the team and felt her ability to empower them through the pandemic really set her apart. Judges praised Paula for being genuine and caring together with her commitment to career progression in the care industry.

Having won their regional award, Amy represented the whole of the South East when she was shortlisted as one of the best home care managers in the UK at the national finals on 18th March 2022.
